Project Manager – USA - Remote

Mirabelli Corporation is in growth mode and we are excited to announce that we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our expanding US team. Job Description: 

As Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with the project team and stakeholders in order to accomplish project objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, direct and control construction project according to schedule and budget.
  • Manage all construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedule and milestones and consistently monitor progress.
  • Schedule and plan all resources required for projects.
  • Communicate effectively with the Site Superintendent, Project Coordinator, clients and vendors.
  • Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resources.
  • Prepare progress reports regarding cost and timelines and share with project stakeholders.
  • Identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals and licenses.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions.
  • Hire subcontractors and negotiate price and scope during buyout process.
  • Order materials and equipment.
  • Manage project costs to meet budgetary constraints.
  • Provide guidance and direction over subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Supervise progress of project, providing reports on adjustments to timelines.
  • Ensure that all legal requirements are met, including safety, building code, city and state requirements.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or construction management from a recognized College or University.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail commercial construction.
  • Willingness to travel 1 to 2x per month.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Above average leadership and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and construction documentation.
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local and state construction legislation.
  • Ability to create a construction schedule and budget.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction and engineering principles.
  • Familiar with contract and subcontract documentation including terms and conditions.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with project team members, vendors and clients.

This is a remote role with some travel to jobsites required.
